Fox Inn

A really nice pub. One of the best in the area. It has a bar and a lounge area, has a great variety of drinks and a great environment with plenty of outside space. They also do a variety of food at times too. Only reason for 4* is that it is rather expensive compared to other locals but you kind of understand why when you go there. Best pub for miles, highly recommended.

Big perspex screens at the bar, sign-in sheet on the counter and plenty of outside seating. Good place for a Sunday afternoon in the sunshine. Bit of a squeeze indoors though, what with the afternoon boozers and the baby shower all taking place in the one room.

Popped in to check before booking food. Glad we did, not sure if they actually did food but never asked because we would not have stayed. Clearly COVID had hit it. Dirty, smelly and lacking a lot

Pub is quite small and old looking inside. Does not serve any food. Owner was very friendly and took time to tell us what was on offer. Will definitely go back

It could be great. Just needs some tlc.

Stayed three nights in May. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely spacious room. Great food on a nicely varied evening menu and beautifully cooked breakfast. Staff so pleasant and efficient. Bar area lacks a little atmosphere /comfort but ales were good. We would not hesitate to return.
