The William Wygston - JD Wetherspoon

A medium sized Wetherspoons as you approach the city centre.
My food was okay, my partner's was cooler than lukewarm.
Very pleasant staff though.

You get what you pay for at Wetherspoons! I do like the app ordering system, especially for customising meals which is great for my autistic kids.
There is a wide variety of food so there’s something for everyone.

This clean, reasonably priced branch of a well known chain serves surprisingly decent food. The chicken wings and pizza were delicious, the draught beer was great and the prices were very competitive. Staff were quite friendly and very polite. Premises were clean and well maintained, some of the decor was interesting, there's even a tiny little library in the bar. Would definitely visit again, despite generally not being that keen on chain brands. This was an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

Food is hot well presented and good value but it can be little lively and noisy sometimes

Had the large breakfast. Excellent value and pleasant surroundings. Staff helpful and friendly. Good selection of drinks and food offerings.

We had a great Sunday English breakfast here for the great price and unlimited tea and coffee, place is homey and with good vibes ..I love coming back.

One of the more decent pubs round the area.
Food was decent although the chilli was definitely from a tin and the rice that came with it was just microwave rice.
Jacket potato was okay although the cheese that comes with it was weird.
Definitely can recommend the pizzas, good price and portion size.

Went for breakfast, there was a problem in the kitchen so some items weren't available. What did come out was barely lukewarm, including the plate. I usually enjoy their breakfast.
