I visited this place for a casual meeting off work and got disappointed... we had BBQ Chicken and fish and chips.....BBQ Chicken found it too expensive for the amount of food... fish and chips ..the fish was very fry inside nearly broken my teeth eating the crust outside ..and very oily....clearly the oil hasn't been changed in awhile...... cannot precise the prices but it was more than 13 each ...see pictures attached.

Lovely garden
The wait for drinks was very long .
So I went into the other bar to save time only to be told by one if the staff that was not sering anybody that this bar was for the restaurant that was nearly empty.
So I returned to the other bar and waited 15 minutes to get my drinks .
These days of puts struggling for trade should take nothing. Other than that had a nice evening

Lovely beer garden and very nice waitress but extremely poor food. When asked how our meal was we pointed out a burger bun was completely burnt on the inside. The waitress offered to replace it, bringing it back ten seconds later with the same top and the bottom replaced with what was clearly an older piece of bread. The cheese burger was so tough you had to put effort into cutting the patty with a knife. Good front of house, poor kitchen...

Everytime I come to this place, I fall in love once again.

Easily one of the best and most comfortable places in Crawley for a chilled meal and drinks with friends and family that are looking for a nice atmosphere.

And if you are looking for a romantic, look no further.

And the food is just glorious. I had the steak & ale pie (house special) and omg it's just delicious!

Go and try for yourself!

A Great Park with lots to do for all ages. The pitch and putt was great fun, lovely 18 hole coarse, you only needed a deposit to play. Then we had coffee at the cafe which was extremely nice. The play park areas were extensive and well maintained. Highly recommended.

I liked everything about this pub/ restaurant. From the old wooden style beams, giving the pub character, to the open wood stove helping keep the pub warm.

The staff were friendly and polite and the service from them was prompt.

The drinks selection was pretty decent with a wide selection of beers on tap.

Food selection was reasonable, catering for all tastes. I noticed there were also vegetarian & vegan options available as well. I will say, I was in a group of 8 people and we all chose something different and all our plates were clean at the end... should tell you how we liked the food ;) !!

So to summarise, a great pub, good food, good staff/ service, good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere!

A very nice traditional pub. Cosy and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there. The food and drinks choice is good and reasonably priced. The steak pie was delicious as was the fish and chips. Good draught beer too. The young man who served us was extremely polite and helpful. It was a nice experience.
