Really friendly place and the staff are excellent. Good old fashioned home style cooking and pleanty on the plate. We were definitely full and really enjoyed the meal. Very reasonable prices and a very good selection to suit all tastes. Lovely old building with loads a character and well presented. We will be going back and thanks to the staff at Royal Oak.

What a little gem this place is. I usually steer clear of countryside/village pubs because most often have limited gluten free options but I was so impressed by the offerings here! Pictured are the GF fish and chips and GF Royal Oak burger, both of which were incredible. There were also a lot of other options available which I'll be trying on my next visit. Also dog friendly, super knowledgeable staff and overall a brilliant experience. Will definitely be visiting again!

Traditional old English country pub, great beer selection, wine and spirits. Good service and fantastic pub food freshly cooked. One of the only places around Lincoln that I’m never disappointed with. A great pub, recommend to book a table if you are dining.

Lovely village pub with a warm atmosphere! Not dog friendly inside but they’re was a water bowl outside which is nice.

A truly superb little old English countryside pub, log burner, low beams, horse brasses, red velvet furniture, stunning beer garden with a spray of flowers and foliage and the food is top notch. Try the fish platter, you won't be disappointed. A place only bettered by its staff. A true gem!

We had a nice meal in the restaurant. The service, food and drink was good. The menu was high quality pub grub which is both a compliment and slight criticism. Would I go back - yes.

My wife got a lasagne that had no cheese or white sauce on just literally sheets of pasta mince and a runny tomato puree...food took 35 mins in-between starter and main....my father in laws beef dinner was a slab of overcooked beef not beef slices...the peppercorn sauce was the saltiest thing I've ever tasted....overall we were in there for 2 hours...didn't wait around for dessert and had to ask 4 times for the bill so we could get out of there and watching the chef go into the toilet with his hat and apron on really wasn't the best thing to see on the way out....don't recommend

Nice country pub, really busy for a Thursday lunchtime, would have been good to know it was over an hour delay on food before ordering. Hangry child didn't have the patience I did. Food was great when it arrived though, beer was also pretty tasty.
