Nice pub with lovely views from the garden area.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Food disappointing with a very limited menu as I gather they had a temporary chef in last minute.
Chips need to be chips not chipsticks.

Literally the best roast I have eaten in a pub.
The carrot and apple puree under the roast was amazing.
Great pub, great atmosphere and delicious food! What more could you ask for

Dropped in here at 3pm on a Saturday when we were half way through moving. Firstly we were very pleased they were still serving food... the place seemed to achieve the balance between being a local boozer and a restaurant with great success. Lovely atmosphere, with woodburners radiating out heat and great views over the countryside.
Great pints of ale (Jennings I think) and absolutely top notch food - some of the best I've eaten in a while. Definitely worth making a journey for!

Warm, welcoming pub with good food

We had a lovely lunch and the restaurant was able to accommodate us on short notice.

The ploughman’s was a little bit small (or a little bit expensive) for was was received and we did need to wait for over 40 minutes for food to arrive.

Everything was tasty and we enjoyed dessert as well.

This was our first visit to the Plough. Albeit fairly quiet for a Saturday night we had a lovely relaxed meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent in taste and quantity. Was really good to see other dishes on the menu that you don't see everywhere else. Price was a touch over £80 for two people. 3 courses for me, two for my wife and two drinks each. We left feeling full! Two log burners in the bar and restaurant which made it feel homely.

If I had to point out a negative it would be not enough options of ciders!

Ample parking available

Out in the country, but excellent food.
Had the anchovies as a starter and the smoked haddock as an entree.
Delicious!
Place, and toilets are very clean.
Will come back when around.
