Great food and beer. Lovely staff who are very welcoming. Looking forward to my next meal there!!

Popped in for a drink. Lovely large pub, in the countryside, lots of outdoor tables and a great play area for kids. Nice selection of ales and lagers, Madri on tap is especially good. Didn't eat this time, will be back to try the food soon as menu sounded tasty.

Tremendous. Best place for a family meal for miles around. Would go every week if we could! Love it.

Went for my birthday meal with my family. It was our first visit to The Gate. There was a good selection of food,beer and deserts. The local people and staff in the pub were friendly and welcoming. The food we all had was gorgeous and served piping hot. There was a specials board again with a very good choice of food. I would highly recommend a visit to The Gate. We will be visiting again.

Well what a fabulous evening! Staff are very friendly, food amazing will definitely return.
Hopefully we won’t be so noisy next time. Son in law said it was his best birthday yet!

Rarely disappointed here. Even had some local horses join us 😁The children chicken nuggets are huge here, food is always hot and tasty and love the homemade chips

Nice stopover in our motorhome. Plenty of room and level parking. Food was nice. Very welcoming. Great for kids as there is a massive garden. Thank you for your hospitality.
