The food is simply delicious and the flavours wonderful. The owners, chef Paul and front of house Lisa are wonderful hosts and make you feel at home immediately. The service is quick and attentive without being overbearing. I love eating there.

I found this over priced sat waiting for a long time. If you have a child don't bother taking them this isn't a place for kids, their not made unwelcome but there isn't a children's menu. The food looks good but portions are very small. I paid over £20 for a breast of guinea fowl one potato and about 4 leaves of spinach and it was all drench in a sauce that over powered the food. The meal is also supposed to come with veg and chips. I ordered two mains and only got a one portion of each. Would not recommend the bell to one of my friends. I would like to point out the staff are really friendly and welcoming just don't think the rest of these reviews do it justice

Excellent menu. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Couldn't fault the cooking or the presentation of the food. The service was good too. Only 'faults' were that we weren't asked if we would like water with our meal nor if any sauces (in our case horseradish) were required. Will definitely return.

Superb meal, lovely surroundings and fantastic staff! We had been told about the Bell at Coleby many times since moving to Lincolnshire but it's taken us 18 months to get there (for a late Valentine's Day meal), and it did not disappoint. A starter of blue cheese, chicory and quince with hazelnuts was very tasty, I then had chicken for my main course followed by the nicest cherry bakewell tart I've ever had served with cherry and amaretto ice cream. Price was as expected for a good quality meal in nice surroundings with friendly and attentive staff. A special meal for a special occasion - or any occasion!!

What impresses me about this gem of a place is the quality of the ingredients....the chef is truly a magician. Well presented, cooked with a flare for flavour. Charming 0lace, highly highly recommended. Service impeccable, great atmosphere...it has it all.

Bakewell Tart is brilliant, Tiger prawn starter amazing, bread and butter pudding and custard is fresh, decor lovely, overall food experience is great. I'd recommend.

Food is about as good as it gets, without being Gordon Ramsey. Its expensive but not Jamie Oliver expensive. And you can usually get a table so the prices can be prohibitive to many.
Still, a really nice restaurant pub; good real ales, attentive well trained young bar staff and the wonderful food. Its really that good... but you pay for it.
