Great pub. Probably one of the last remaining proper pubs in the area. All the rest have more of a restaurant vibe. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Good selection of beer and ales. Hard to find somewhere to go for a drink with friends in the area that isn't all rammed/fully booked, so glad to find this.

Lovely pub. In a beautiful area. Reasonably priced drinks. Didn't eat as not serving food in the evening. But lunch time menu looked really chap. Will visit again.

This is a proper old boozer in an area where that's a rarity. Good filling pub grub for lunch, cheap prices. Would've got five stars had the beer selection been better / greater.

Lovely to see a pub that is just as I remember it from 50 years ago. A true local. I served at the nearby RAF Station and spent many a memorable evening there. Shame there is not much evidence of the RAF on the walls anymore as there used to be. A lovely unspoiled pub. Times change. Love it.
