I popped in for a pint as my train was delayed, and found I had discovered a lovely pub! There is a friendly atmosphere, and the bar person (who I think is the manager) was very hospitable and had a great rapport with the locals. She was telling me that lots of people were having problems with delayed and cancelled trains, but if you are in this position I can thoroughly recommend this pub.

I’ve been popping in and out of here for quite some time now, one of the friendliest pubs I’ve ever been too and the Manager Jamie is so knowledgeable about all the beers they have to offer, I can’t recommend it enough.

Great Pub, nice selection of beers and great atmosphere created by the bar staff especially Jamie whom is always very welcoming and will soon introduce you to some of the regulars, so even a lonely tourist feels very much at home.

Been coming in here for 30 years. They keep the Guinness well, best pint in Salisbury. Manager is friendly and always up for a chat and a laugh.

Lovely bar staff, great Pims in the summer. New decor in bar area a great improvement. Good prices. Ideal for a drink whilst waiting for a takeout from KK’s.

A gem of a pub! A slight walk out from the market square but well worth the walk! The combination of good beer, cheap prices and friendly staff means its always my go to pub! Thanks Deacons!

A very well kept, welcoming pub, with great pints at really great prices. Jamie, the manager, is so friendly and knowledgeable, you'll feel like a regular in no time!
