Love the country pub feel from the outside and the decor inside this pub. The waitresses were friendly and we sat in the bar area with our drinks until our table was ready. The waitresses took our food order at the bar so when our table was ready, our starters were served almost immediately. All three courses were delicious and we had a lovely evening celebrating my husband's Birthday.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, would highly recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was well decorated and well kept with fresh flowers, the food was very tasty with obviously top quality ingredients used and there was a good selection of drinks/beers available. A quintessential British experience. Could not ask for more. Thanks!

This could easily have been a five star review. But....
Front of house welcome from the land lady was uncomfortable and awkward. Her daughter was very bright and friendly though.
We felt the portion size of accompaniments was a bit mean. If this had been doubled this meal would have been pretty much perfect. We felt too uncomfortable to ask for more.

The positives....
The Inn is clean as a pin, not a speck of dust anywhere, prices were reasonable for the food quailty.
The food we did get was really tasty, fresh and homemade. The sauce with my steak was yummy as were the dauphinois(though not enough of them) My steak was tender and nicely cooked. My partner had lamb rump, which was cooked perfectly. The chocolate roulade was heavenly.
I'm sad not to be able to rate higher.

A lovely country pub although no draft beer, there is a choice of bottled beers. Although limited choices, the food is tasty and dietary requirements can be catered for. You won't be disappointed but do check that they are open before you travel.

Lovely, quiet with fantastic food. Got myself Monk Fish and it was delicious, soft and Juicy inside and crispy outside, with light coconut milk. Staff was friendly and very polite. Easy access to the restaurant, with w local shop opposite to it.

We went with friends for a booked Sunday Lunch.

As a family-run establishment, it was just as you'd want and expect.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the beer was well kept and the food was both reasonably priced and stunning.

Faultless!
