If you want a drink after 10.30 this is not the place for you. Plenty of space and a nice big garden. Drink was good.

Fabulous Jubilee celebration. Fantastic customers and staff. We were just visiting and were made very welcome. Excellent Bon Jovi singer, who also sung a wide variety of other songs from all the decades.

I have read some of the reviews saying this is the best pub in Stroud. If It is then the rest must be woefull. The landlady or landladdy is rude .aggressive and has zero communication skills. She couldn’t wait to get our group out so she could have a lock in with her friends. This I don’t really mind, but it can be done in a nice way. Instead the landlady grabbed pints and was aggressive. If the brewery read this, be warned as when an incident happens don’t plead ignorance. Stay away

The Rose is a great pub!! With a great atmosphere!! I Enjoy it every time I go in, i love it! If the landlady is aggressive to you then you deserve it!! Has great amounts of patience when it comes to people being difficult! Come in and enjoy great fun, entertainment and all the sports you could watch!!

Ignore Google our opening times are Sunday and Monday 12.00 till 22.00. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12.00 till 23.00 and Friday and Saturday 12.00 till 00.00.
We also now have prime sports so showing all sports live everyday. We can show 3 sports live at once so no more worrying about missing your favs

Community pub, liked by regulars, well run but I imagine still some work in progress for the present management.
