Lovely food in a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend the steak or the crispy chicken sandwich. Check the menu for the special deals. There is also a nice selection of desserts.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Service is really good 👍

They also have special events for families with entertainment.
Outside seats available and a special outdoor Gin Garden when the weather is good.
Car parking is more than ample.

I returned to this lovely pub a week later and was met with a lovely welcoming lady who sat my friend and I down. She served us with a lovely smile. I opted lasagne on this occasion and my friend went for his favourite steak, cooked the way he liked it. I was really pleased with the service and food quality 😋

We visited on a Friday early evening, spur of the moment & the place was very busy, with around a 45 minute wait for for food, so probably worth pre booking a table & bearing this in mind ahead if your visit.
Food arrived hot & good sized portions, good value aa two burgers for the price of one one a Friday.

First time visiting here today, We both enjoyed our meals here, we received a genuine warm welcome and great service from the team, Older lady made conversation with us and took time out to offer her personal recommendations, Praise to her, will definitely return soon.

Called in on Monday after a funeral, we only planned to have a couple of pints and go. The staff were so friendly, professional, and polite. We ended up staying all day. The service and quality of the food was outstanding and the whisky went down really well. Would just like to say thanks again.

First time back for some time myself and mum we decided to go as it was dad's 5th anniversary of passing away. We had a roast very nice indeed. Ordered our drinks the staff were lovely and helpful I would go back again thank you for your hospitality.

Had the wake for my nans funeral here today. They reserved a large space for us which still made us feel part of the pub atmosphere which was great. The food and service was also to be commended. Couldn't fault and would recommend for any occasion. Thank you for making a tough day, that little bit easier.

Very impressed with service, friendliness and selection. Due to having dogs, ate outside. Absolutely amazed at the space outdoors, as never knew after all these years. It excels at what they are good at, cheap and cheerful for families.

Had lunch here on 2.1.23, food was lovely. There were quite a few empty tables although they had reserved on.
My only gripe and a big one me! One member of our group ordered dessert, when the dessert was brought to our table, the plates had not been cleared.
The young lady picked up the plate where she needed to put the dessert and walked away, leaving everyone else’s plates on the table. These plates were still on the table as we left.
My star rating is a reflection on this and not the quality of the food.
