The Shakespeare, Bethnal Green

A chance visit to The Shakespeare in Bethnal Green. Lovely people in a simple but welcoming pub. A lovely lady behind the bar, more than a match for any customer. However, a caskless pub so real ale drinkers won't be happy. I had a great pint and enjoyed the banter and feeling of the pub.

Been in this pub so many times! Been coming in here since I was a youngen! Use to be a massive Spurs pub and the atmosphere in there use to be 2nd best to even going to the game! Had some wicked times in there! Have reasonably priced decent drinks and Put on good entertainment regularly! Good booza all round!

Me and my daughter always use this pub before watching west ham. We travel from Bath and its our first stop in London. Great friendly staff and seems like a real old school boozer for locals who are equally as friendly with my young daughter. Good prices and excellent service. Would recommend to anyone

Great little pub and it was so cheap! Staff were great too. A proper locals pub so enjoyed having a few here!

Very nice we had a leaving do here for one of our girls from the pharmacy very entertaining with a lady singing on stage very enjoyable evening stayed until the end of evening

Excellent boozer as a boozer should be , be prepared to have to wait for seat as the venue is quite small and compact . Brilliant service and reasonable prices for drinks etc .
