The Courthouse

Went for a lunch.... Service was initially slow, felt like we were being ignored despite asking two members of staff we were ready to order... Both said give us a few minutes and never returned - they weren't even at full capacity. Finally order taken, told the guy we were on limited time due to lunch hour and this is when the service finnaly became better. Decent pint of Guinness and lemonade swiftly arrived.... Shortly followed by two very good portions for our lunch.... Which by the way were two for £7.95. Food was of good quality and overall we were really pleased. Will definitely be going back there, despite the initial service let down. Lunch for two was less than £15 which I think was really good value for what we got. It has a pool table, beer garden, high stools and low level tables. Good pub.

Excellent Divine Dine or a super filling meal. Drinks are spot on.

Same exact perfect service. Even better meat was perfect temperature, succulent juicy, fresh vegetable parcels superb chefs blinding service.

45 minutes wait for veggie 'lasagne' made with "two sheets of pasta and leftover veg from Sunday" according to the waitress and looked worse than it sounds, especially considering it's Thursday but explained the grey peas and tinned veg swimming in oil. Awful veggie 'options' and partner's mixed grill was ordered medium but was dry as a bone. This was on a quiet night as well so no idea what we would've been served if the 'chef' was busy

8/22 Visited with our bi-monthly lunch group (about 20 of us). The place was heaving, yet every meal came out at the same time, hot and no mistakes or lack of quality. I don't know how they do it! Other establishments should learn from them.
Still great 4/22.
Consistent as ever. Food simple but always tasty and hot and service always excellent. Visited 2/22 and still as good. Always busy, so you know they're getting it right.

Visited the courthouse today for a meal with my family. 5* service from a lovely lady with curly hair! We received our lunch and she asked if everything was okay and served with a smile. More people should be like this! Didn’t take or remember her name but will definitely be returning - if only every waitress was as nice as her! Thankyou !

went for an engagement with my family, about 4 of us ordered steaks and all were cooked wrong. other than that the service was quick and the staff overly kind / understanding of a refund.
