My friend and I popped in Wednesday lunchtime for some food and a drink. Meet by a young man called Darren who I believe is the manager, very friendly and welcoming. Pub was quiet but made to feel valued and welcomed. Food was of good quality and speedy service. Will recommend to my friend's, if only for the cute barman.

Had an amazing meat feast pizza and the 4 sharing plates tonight for my birthday . Food cooked by Julie was amazing quality and value for money . Followed by a traditional pub quiz . Being our first time joining we were welcomed into an enjoyable couple of hours well hosted by the staff . We'll done

Pub is absolutely fantastic. In is family's atmosphere. And Sharon is very professional staff.

It is so nice that mcmullens have now given the Hopfields a well deserved make over which was well over due. Looks and feels much better.

Slow service... TOO MUCH BLOODY FOOTBALL..... Open fire not lit... made it feel Cold and slightly unwelcoming...ok for a group of FOOTY blokes

Lovely friendly helpful bar staff.
Attended for a wake - the bar service was excellent and the buffet food provided for the guests was really plentiful, nicely presented and tasty.
