Lovely staff, seating was a bit tricky but the team were really accommodating. The chips aren't as good as they used to be but still great. Nice selection of vegetarian and vegan options too!

What a delightful evening I had at this venue. The homemade food was superb and the service was excellent. The alcohol was good too! I was there for my grandsons birthday meal with the family, 9 of us. A great time was had by all. Must stress that the food was delicious so unless you don't enjoy great food don't go there! Have a great visit.

Went for Sunday roast, meat came outwith no vegetables (by accident) my Thai curry wasn't that great (I cook a better one at home) no alcohol purchased and still paid £45. I honestly wish I had stayed at home as last time I went it was excellent I was refunded £2.50 for the veg as never came.... but paying about £16 for just some meat and potatoes is a little bit of a joke tbh, we had both plates of food still full on plate i was super embarrassed to have recommended the place to my friend. Wouldn't recommend again, a shame last time I went with family of 7 and i had the steak it was very nice but not sure what had happened this eve 😳

This place has long been a favourite of our Family. A recent visit has revealed economic change, with commercially prepared meat products as opposed to in-house which this establishment had earned a great reputation. Food standards significantly compromised. Great staff as normal. So sad to see traditional home cooked and carved Sunday roasts gone.

A little disappointing if I'm honest, the food was served on cold plates so the food was cold. I had Ham, Egg and chips and my eggs were solid! My friend had a steak which was nearly £30 and to be honest wasn't brilliant. We had heard rave reviews about this place but unfortunately did not live up to them.

Excellent Sunday roast. If you like your meat, go for the mixed roast which comes with chicken, pork and beef with crackling, giant Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. Then some nice veggies.

The kids had a great time on the outside play area which kept them busy until food arrived.

Very enjoyable with pleasant staff and a lovely atmosphere

Went last minute on New Years eve. Pub staff friendly but service was hit and miss. However, the food was great. Really tasty, hot and well presented. Well done chef.
