We loved our visit here for dinner. Good food and friendly, helpful staff. It’s doggy friendly too which is always a bonus! Fish and chips was amazing and my son said his burger was the best he’d ever had!! Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding too! Lots of veggie and vegan options 😊 🙌🏻

Haven’t been for years but will definitely be back. One of our party was a vegan and the vegan choices were unlike anywhere I know around Guildford. A fantastic selection of local real and craft ales, and some local gins too. I was designated driver so appreciated the high quality alcohol-free pale ale. I (almost) didn’t miss the alcohol. We took a dog and they were clearly more than friendly, real dog lovers, with help-yourself treats, poo bags and clean water bowls.

Fantastic experience. Really lovely atmosphere. Family AND dog friendly. Food was amazing as was the service. The service really made this from just a nice lunch out to just a fantastic experience.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday roast here today, I would definitely recommend The Cyder House Inn. I am glad we booked as it was very busy but despite this, the staff were attentive and friendly. Clearly a popular place! We loved the real fire, the dog-friendliness and the atmosphere. The food was excellent; we both had the roast.

Fabulous pub and great Sunday lunch venue after a circular walk in round the local area. Dog friendly and walking boot friendly (they even have a supply of dog blankets and biscuits!). Food was lovely. Recommend the roast dinners. Great attentive service too.

I had a rather excellent Sunday lunch here. Food was fantastic and all of our tables mains were fantastic and cooked to perfection. I'm very impressed with how tender and well cooked the meat dishes were. Deserts for me didn't hit the heights of the mains. I prefer apples in a crumble being cooked more... probably a personal preference but overall I'd like to sample more of the menu! Recommended.

Stopped by after completing the Shackleford Afterburner mountain bike ride on a cold winters day in Jan. Normally start a review talking about the food and atmosphere and finish on the staff. Will do the reverse this time as staff were very much above average. Waiter was really helpful, friendly and efficient whilst the barman was happy to chat and knowledgeable about the beers on draught. The busy atmosphere was great for a Sat afternoon and food was fab - I had the Chicken Kiev and loved it whilst my friend had the Chicken Burger which he also really liked. Both tasted great and very reasonably priced. Great gastro pub and well worth a visit.
