Great town centre pub, nice outdoor seating area. Good range of beers and ciders, including Rekorderlig on draft, which is a rarity. Nice friendly staff too.

Good for live music at the weekends. Plus they also have a loyalty card scheme for draft, free pint for every 7 you buy!

The Swan in its former incarnation was a cherished fixture of Ipswich's pub and live music scene. When it temporarily closed its doors, many of us were worried we'd lost a favourite. But since reopening as Swan & Hedgehog, it seems to have picked up where it left off. I was in recently for a live rock band on a Friday night. Great choice by the owners. Everything else as I remembered it. A decent selection of beer, a pool table, friendly staff, sizable beer garden (more a yard really), and very convenient central location in town. If you're in town, definitely worth popping in.

Just a flying visit for the first time in over six years so obviously I am not a regular. I had a nice quiet lunchtime experience with a good pint of Guinness. Quite expensive compared to what I usually pay but it was a pleasant way to spend 20 minutes.

Dave and Amanda....good people. Good pub, friendly, nifty music and a plethora of thirst slaking, lip smaking, delightfully delicious and lush beverages to suit one and all.

Cosy and pleasant place. Great people run this place with a strong focus on keeping the wrong kind of clientele away. Happy evenings a plenty with proper LivE MuSIc !
