The Red Lion

Great food and great service. Just been here 2nd time for lunch, this time inside as it was too cold outside, what apparently did not bother some local community. The service was great again, staff kind and helpful in choice. The food was delicious, even chips tasted a bit different, better. Definietly one to consider next time as still a few options to try from the menu.

Just had a lovely meal here with my wife....very warm welcome, super tasty freshly cooked food (i had the crispy chicken, bacon & cheese Ciabatta) & a great pint! We will be back very soon! Full marks to the Red Lion!

Love the ambiance. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Especial mention to the manager Kristoff , he always attends to our needs.

Can highly recommend this place. Sumptuous food,complement to chef Jobathan.

Great pub. Very pleasant young staff. Nice food and beer. Dogs allowed in. We will be back.

My daughter had her family party here for her 21st last night. The function room is perfect. She linked her ipad to the speaker system. The sound and lighting was great. The guy on the bar worked really hard and was friendly and efficient. The party food was and still is today (next day), fresh and delicious 😋. We had some vegan options which were great especially the samosas and sausage rolls. Thank you 😊

Everything was amazing
The food was so tasty, everyone commented on how nice it was
Was able to provide vegan options too which was very appreciated
Even cooked chips on the night for a young guest who had gluten intolerance.
Booked it about 6 months prior and was told I won’t need to put a deposit down unless someone else wanted the same date, which didn’t happen in my case so only paid a week before which was great
Both Kristoff and Lewis were brilliant in answering any questions I had over the phone .
Very welcoming staff who even gave me a free birthday drink while setting up !
Got there an hour before to set up decorations and they was very accommodating to that too.
Was also able to set up my music on their large speakers and had lights

Also had some tables outside provided and fans in case we got too hot.

Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to book a birthday party here

Brilliant food I fully recommend.

We were staying locally, and wandering around to find somewhere to eat and stumbled upon the Red Lion. We really lucked out - the food was excellent, very fresh and delicious. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely. What a find - would thoroughly recommend.
