Moat House

Newly renovated and newly opened. I was pleasantly surprised with the new place. It has been stylishly renovated to fit the style of the old building. The new owners are friendly, helpful and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. The gardens are a fantastic place to enjoy a summers day drink. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the the Moat House. Well done and all the very best with the new venture.

We held a birthday celebration here in May 22 in the Long Gallery. We were really happy with both the booking process and the venue on the night. Donald and Jon were both very helpful before and after the event and the barman for the evening was thoroughly professional, as was the DJ. The food was excellent and the vegetarians were pleased with their options. Thank you. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a venue.

Visited recently for a drink and the place has been done out beautifully. Lovely spacious garden and dog friendly. The function room is also really nice. Bar is well stocked and really friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again soon

Great pub in Grand stately home just a 5 minute walk from town centre. Stopped off for a pint after beer festival and was impressed with selection, 4 real ales on offer. Manager & staff very friendly. Will definitely pop back next time I'm in Tamworth & hopefully make use of splendid beer garden.

Attended a party, nice place, friendly bar staff. Was nice and quiet.
I would like to go back for a couple of drinks and a meal and see what its like then.

Myself and my husband attended a birthday party this Saturday evening at the Moat house and I must say all the staff that I came across was very pleasant and well mannered. On arrival we we greated by one employee who explained about the parking there and explained where to go to get your free parking and also showed us where to go for the function, then the bar man was very nice too and polite even the waiter that cleared the table was polite I would recommend the moat house and thank you for making it a nice evening.

Very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. The current owners really care and you can see and feel that as soon as you enter.
Really good choice of ales and rums at reasonable prices. They also do functions, room hire rates are generous and their caterer is top quality.
Only a few minutes walk to the castle, highly recommend this Tamworth gem.

Great night at the quiz. Friendly staff, full house and good beer. What more
