Nice traditional pub. Could do with a lick of paint in a few places but it's nice to go somewhere with a bit of character! Prices very reasonable for drinks, didn't have food there so can't comment on food price/quality. Lovely pub dog (Snoop). Beware the low ceiling!

A truly excellent lunch on a damp day at Bisley. Great, friendly service, a reasons menu and Sticky Toffee Pudding (with custard - yum!) to finish. Several excellent coffees. Just a perfect lunch to catch up after nine months of lockdown separation. 14DEC2020

New owners. No kitchen at present but they allow you to buy sandwiches from the local shop and eat them in the pub with your drink. Brilliant idea.

We got there mid afternoon and within a few minutes a family turned up. They parked their car (with their dog inside) right outside the window we were sitting at.
Their car alarm continually went off and despite their efforts to cancel the alarm it continued. The family attitude was very poor and the pub staff did nothing and this despite other customers making remarks. The family eventually left to the relief of everyone.

Went a few years ago when we lived in the area and it was not a good experience for us. It doesn't say anywhere online that they don't welcome children and we didn't realise. Went in for a quick drink with a sleeping baby in tow and were asked to leave. Were happy to sell us drinks but we had to sit outside on a cold, frosty winters day. That was 4 years ago and I would still never go again, even without a child. It was humiliating. Would not recommend.

Nice pub. Very welcoming. Outside area for those that want it. Nice bar food too. Big car park if you need to drive there.
