Walked past here many times but this was the first time I visited. We had a drink and some food which was pleasant. Came out quickly and was great for the prices. Would visit again for a quick pint and something to eat if passing.

Great food, friendly service and a fabulous range of ales...

Great cask ales and great food too.
It may take a while for your meal to be served but it is worth the wait. There are many largest and ales to try while waiting.
You will not be disappointed.

Ate a Christmas meal here .the food was some of the worst I've ever eaten with little to no care give to it. For example the salad that was served with every dish on our table was browning mushy and gross

The food is always lovely here, we were with a large group of friends and all of our food came out hot and at the same time. We all enjoyed our meals and really reasonably priced. Lovely selection of drinks, polite staff and great atmosphere. Will 100% return!

Lovely pub with a great selection of drinks. The food menu also looked good and there seemed to be some good events being put on throughout the year.

This pub has changed names so many times over the years but hey that's the way of things I guess.
I don't mind being here I personally find it a little cramped, when there's fewer ppl im ok for an hour or so.
It is typical of a town bar that's used to customers having a couple and then moving on.
The staff i spoke to were friendly competent and efficient.
There's seating and an outside area at the rear the front has a few tables outside under cover also.
Modern Clean and tidy facilities
though a broken lock on toilet door was a pain, some choose to treat other people property with the contempt it seems.
Not eaten there myself but I hear it's nice.
The beer I choose was enjoyable with good temp sparkling glass too.
A decent bar, I recommend it to all.

Nice place but the food is the same like every pub
