For a budget, restaurant we find the food here is cooked perfectly and they use decent quality meat. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Quality at a good price. Fast service.

I booked through the website but when we got there they couldn't find our booking. It didn't matter as it wasn't busy at the time we went so we could pick any table. Food was really tasty, husband said his steak could have been hotter but my food was fine. If I had to nit pick ,our starter came same time as our main meal but other than that nice place and would recommend.

On entry thought this was a Wetherspoons but its not. Very similar lots of cask ales at reasonable prices. Tried the food which was also good.

Great place now that it has had a makeover. Feels clean and bright. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Great choice of beers and reasonably priced food. Thanks to Liam, Lucy and Lucy F for making us so welcome. We'll be back!

We popped in here on one of the hottest days of the year. It was so hot outside but the place had air conditioning & it was great sitting in the cool looking out. It’s been refurbished recently & they’ve done a great job. Decent beer & cider prices. We had a beef burger & chicken burger which were both really tasty & brought to our table quickly. They’ve got a good menu as well. Great friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

I came here on November 18th together with my mum, sister and brother for an English breakfast & a coffee. Unfortunately the coffee machine was out of order so we had coca cola instead.
We did not have to wait long for our food and it looked quite nice when it came to us, unfortunately the majority of it was cold, only my eggs were warm and the mushrooms were undercooked.

Initially popped in for a quick drink a couple of weeks ago and to watch some football. Friendly bar staff and reasonably priced. Offers on spirits and good selection. Enjoyed ourselves so went again the next week. Bar staff remembered us and even our drinks option which was nice. Chose to eat this time - sharing platter - 5 bowls for under £12. Just enough for both of us and food was really tasty and well presented, not just thrown on a plate. Becoming a regular now as went again for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Well cooked and good sized portion. Lovely mug of coffee. Would be great to see wholemeal bread as an option though. Will definitely be back.
