Good food done very well in generous portions.
Reasonable prices so all in all a winner. Place was booked but they squeezed us into the bar area at fairly short notice. Nice friendly pub with good food and staff.

Dog friendly bar area (not bookable after 12.30) serving lovely food - roast cauliflower cheese for veggies, roast beef for the meaties and gorgeous snickers cheesecake for dessert, all on a Saturday lunch time:)

Went for a drive around today and ended up stopping for lunch. So much choice on the menu and such friendly staff. Fantastic prices. We will definitely be visiting again

I arrived at 6pm opening time and ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce and have to say it was one of the best pub meals I have eaten.
Within a half hour the place was buzzing, I overheard the lady behind the bar saying they were already fully booked and this on a Thursday night and very large premises, says it all, what better recommendation can you get.
Would definitely return.
Thoroughly recommend this place if your in the area and looking to eat out.

The meal I had was one of the best things I've eaten. Great drinks selection, really interesting menu with veggie options. Nice staff with a lovely interior and friendly customers.
We only visited the area for a weekend, came here on the first night and hoped to come back the second day for lunch but it was fully booked.
Would go out of my way to return to this place!!
