Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and helpful service from staff. Good variety on menu. Excellent light batter on the fish. Great views across the road from the pub, of the River Severn and surrounding hills. Will be returning

Great place to visit for a good quality pint of real ale. Three Tuns XXX, Salopian Lemon Dream, Wye Valley Butty Bach were on offer when we visited. Had a nice sandwich too.

Thursday lunch, I was pleased to see the Royal Hill was busy. Always a good sign. Good choice on the menu of above average pub grub. Very enjoyable and well priced.

Great little pub, super location by the river, but the fab outside benches a bit brrrrn today! Really nice food, good selection of decent beer

Always a top pub/restaurant, our party of six today enjoyed excellent lunch. The Gammon was amazing, served as gammon and pineapple and on top gammon and egg with all the usual additions, all the other selscted meals first class, all at very reasonable prices, service also top drawer. This has to be the best in the county for value and setting overlooking the River Severn.

Great food, friendly staff, lovely cozy atmosphere.
