This is a fabulous pub. The food is excellent and they have a good choice of beer. They have young very enthusiastic staff who are keen to please. The garden is a great place to hang out in the summer and people watch. It is a very pretty village as well so you can walk off your meal. The last time I visited I had the pizza which was very good. I would highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful place like stepping back in time.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, even got a room upgrade.
Everything about the place is so quirky but beautiful.
The staff were all lovely, the breakfast was one of the best ever and the outside garden area is glorious on a lovely sunny afternoon.
No complaints at all,we enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely return.
Thank you everyone for making us so welcome.

Visited off the back of staying at their sister pub, The Bell, last year and was not disappointed. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the pub itself has a brilliant garden to go along with their cosy interiors. The food was incredible as was the wine list. Can't recommend this enough.

Great pub. Didn’t have time for food, but they have Hawkstone on tap, which to me is quality beer. Frequent to their sister pub, and will be returning to sample their food

Some of the best food we’ve had anywhere in the world! We were lucky enough to stay at the cozy, comfortable Lamb Inn last week for a couple days and felt pampered as a guest and thoroughly enjoyed ever meal! The chefs even worked around my Allium (garlic family) allergy and made wonderful dishes for me! The Carrot Rapee dish was out of this world! How can I get that recipe?!? Don’t miss the chance to eat at the Lamb Inn and stay there. Staff was all wonderful! Ash greeted us and was always friendly & helpful, and Evie was a great server. Met really fun locals at the pub, too!

Dropped in on a Sunday early evening on the off-chance of dining. Was accommodated and it was even 1/2 price pizza night. Food was great but local IPA and Cider was a bit expensive - £6.50 for a pint of Camden IPA was a bit of a shock when the bill came - very nice beer, I didn't ask when I ordered as you don't, despite that overall very enjoyable.

We had a very comfortable one night stay in this quaint sixteen century Inn which is full of character. Our room was large with all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner which were of the highest quality. Ample parking is available. The view our of our bedroom window was particularly beautiful with the trees displaying their autumn colors.

Like pubs used to be. For this author that means "Please don't change." Food and beer suitably moreish. Mostly the beer.
If you like your pubs sterile and cutting edge... perhaps elsewhere may suit you?
