Lovely village pub. Dogs are welcome on leads...friendly landlord.. no food but they do a yummy roast on a Sunday.
Huge welcoming fire place and free pool on a Thursday.

Great pub, great beer, friendly locals, the landlord shawn is a great guy opened the pub early so we could watch the six nations match, had an open mic session on the Sunday afternoon and it was great,

Visited for the first time on Saturday evening, 23/07/22 to support some work colleagues who play in a band called Hair of the dog.
My first impression was how friendly the locals are and the amazing multi tasking skills of the barman/landlord.
As the evening wore on, the music was getting people up on the floor...the last hour was absolutely rocking!
Fantastic atmosphere.

Great traditional pub and alot of history goes with it, even info about world war 2 leaders meeting in the pub to discuss the D-Day preparations.

Great pub with an increadibly hepful landlord and friendly locals who kept us warm and fed after breaking down on a cold sunday evening and having to wait 10 hours for the RAC. Would definitely reccomend a visit for the atmosphere and history and we will be stopping by whenever we are in the area.
