Great atmosphere and even better food.
I had the plant based fish and chips and battered sausage mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce.
The pub is mainly plant based but also does fish and chips to.
Really lovely owners
Will definitely be going back 💚

Shame it looked a lovely pub, But if you like frozen food it's up your street. I had a awful Beef burger that was a frozen type perfectly round with mashed up meat, it was more like a ham burger. My wife had the scampi and chips again the scampi was frozen and tasteless, but we loved the Homemade chips. Poor quality food that was expensive.

Popped in on the way back from Bedford, lovely pub which was busy with the locals nice atmosphere, which is a good sign & nice to see these days...had the home made vegetable curry, absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend for excellent food & good ales.

My husband and in-laws had a wonderful dinner here last night. My husband and I are vegan and loved the Jack and Chips. My father in-law had the cod and chips and said it's the best he's had in the area. He tried the jack and chips as well and thought it was great. The desserts (all vegan) were absolutely delicious. Worth a trip whether you are plant based or not.

Great choice of vegan and vegetarian meals, plus a couple of fish dishes. Full veggie Sunday roast on offer. Lots of beers and ciders. Very attentive staff. Worth making the trip as the village is beautiful.

Nice little gem! Have not come across a plant-based pub in the countryside, they do have meat options but it's mostly plant-based. The tapas meatballs are amazing, even my meat eater friends say it's amazing. A bonus that they allow dogs inside. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing fish and chips!!! Batter real crispy, juicy cod and the chips out of this world. I've been North, South, East and West and this is the best I've ever had. Big Thanks for a great meal 😋
