Nice pub with friendly staff and locals. We stopped off here on our journey home and were made to feel very welcome.

Nicely refurbished and welcoming pub. I would have given 5 stars but the choice if cider is poor. Nothing on tap and 2 of my most hated ciders in bottles. Shame as we would use regularly.

This is a lovely local and friendly pub. The kitchen has just been installed and there are big plans for good home-cooked food, so watch this space I would say....

Superb steak night on Tuesdays, friendly staff and regulars, you are made to feel welcome, good range of real ales too.

Cannot praise this establishment or the proprietors nearly enough!! We asked at last minute to come for an informal Sunday afternoon 18th birthday celeb ... A 3 gen family group, and they accommodated us beautifully. We wanted to be outside and they could not have been more helpful, generous or kind. Nothing was too much trouble, and they did everything they could from bringing us nibbles, to food, to moving seating etc. We met the team - and they are an ATeam! Even met the darling baby Ella who’s 4.5 months a full of smiles 😊 These are the sort of people we need to get behind and support! 5*****’s from me! Booked a wake with Carlie & Ed and they organised it for us and made sure we was well looked after from the moment we walked through the door. The buffet they laid on was lovely and more than enough also very reasonably priced . Thanks very much to you hen and the Queen’s Head.

Rode past on my bike today at about 11, I was really hot and thirsty, I saw a couple of guys having a drink so I turned round.
The landlord Ed was great, had a good chat and he made me a sandwich and gave me a slice of water melon, all free of charge.
What a great pub and landlord, I will certainly be visiting again, it's what pubs should all be like.
He's starting breakfasts soon and they sounded awesome too, definitely worth a visit.

Here for a darts match, nice and warm and cosy. And had my favourite beer 🍺
