Just shared a lovely meal here with a friend. The food was very good as were the cocktails we enjoyed. The Manager, Liam, is efficient and helpful. Glad to see a restaurant with a smaller menu but filled with dishes that are cooked well and presented beautifully.
Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic food, great service. Their apple and sage mash potato deserves a particular shout out! Thank you, we will definitely be visiting again!

Stopped for some lunch, and the food is just amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

We stopped here after a day of shopping. The food was excellent. The superfood salad was the best I've ever had. The homemade gourmet chips were cooked to perfection. I can't praise the cook highly enough. He cooks well. It was quiet being the middle of the afternoon and the atmosphere was lovely. The server was attentive and nice. I would definitely eat there again.

Good ambience, service and food and drinks. Stopped in while in town and ended up having a few drinks and a bite to eat. Very relaxing, loved the real wood fire, took the edge off a chilly evening

Absolutely disgusting the staff are rude all of them I had a short black hair in my food (waiter that brought my food out) I complained and the lady at the bar laughed in my face!! No apology at all..the table we were on was dirty I had to ask her to clean it and not to mention the toilets they were rank (pee all on the floor, walls disgusting) it looked liked it hadn’t been cleaned overall hygiene wise it’s extremely poor I don’t recommend this place for drinks or food also not to mention food took over an hour when we were the only people there !!

Fish was excellent with the beef Bourguignon, it is very quiet at lunch and we missed out on the coq au vin. We’ll have to pick it up next time we go in the evening.

NYE 2021, mid afternoon. Pub was lovely, cool and quiet. We had one on one service from Rob who gave us some excellent advice on the cocktails and helped us really enjoy our 11 year anniversary. Smashing pub and staff! Thank you so much!
