Fantastic Sunday Lunch - excellent menu choice - premises are spotless and really well presented - friendly Landlord and Team.

Lovely but expensive.
The ambience was perfect, the landlord Andrew and his staff were super friendly, table service from the young waiter couldn't be faulted at all and the food was delicious...I have to say I had the best fish and chips I have ever had! Now I know I've said it is expensive but you really do get what you pay for here and that is a wholly perfect evening out, if you're just looking for a quick cheap bite to eat then probably best head for McDonald's 😂

Had lunch here recently and the pub is dog friendly with a wonderful host to welcome you in. Lots of great details and thought and the food is very tasty too. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks as well as alcoholic, wish we had a pub like this one local to us!

What a find. Drove past the sign for this lovely old pub many times. My mistake. The food was awesome. I had scallops to start- fresh and tasty with a black pudding crumb- delicious. Followed by ox cheek with horseradish tagliatelle. Simply gorgeous. Service was friendly, attentive and not overwhelming. Wasnt the cheapest night out but for this quality we will be back!!!!

The Ox Cheek Ragu was delicious - dark, rich and tender, the baked cheesecake with marmalade and honeycomb delicious too.
A little noisey seated in the bar area, for quiet conversation request a table in one of the other two areas.

Brilliant food and good service. Minor issue with our meal but dealt with well and would highly recommend. Good wine list and proper beer

We were staying in the area over Christmas, and had pre booked a meal at the Cats Head Inn on Christmas Eve. Nice atmosphere, everyone was friendly and welcoming, the food was quite excellent and the members of staff helpful and attentive. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thankyou.

Favourite pub in Somerset. Food is amazing, drinks are equally as good, just a fun cozy environment
