Three Horse Shoes

We visited here on Saturday 1st December to hear some live music. Have to say it's so good to see a "real pub" that's doing well as a pub! The crowd was lively - mixed ages which is nice to see - and the beer was good and well priced. Certainly will be visiting again when up in the area.

Approaching the Pub we were not sure if open or not, after negotiating all the vans parked on the front we looked at the front door and were not sure if open or not, after squeezing through the half open door we found that most of the Pub was covered in dust sheets and decorators everywhere, then before we had even orientated ourselves the bar girl shouted across "What can I get you", so we placed our order, my beer was either not what I ordered or it was very badly kept(It was in fact awful) as there were no seats we made to move into the back room however it was booked for a private party which is fair enough but we were not offered a seat anywhere else but told we could stand at the bar, needless to say we will not be revisiting

A small pub, but very well kept with great staff and a very good selection of beers and ciders.
They also have a room that can be used for events and can provide food that is very well priced compared to others pubs in the area.
Well worth reading all the scripts on there walls 😁

Absolutely stunning pub, a huge selection of beers, warm and welcoming Landlord and Landlady, dog friendly, excellent beer garden. Can't recommend enough.

Decent range of beers, lovely outdoor space, friendly atmosphere, very clean and modern interior. I've been to Ilkeston a few times but for some reason this pub has passed me by. Will definitely re-visit.

Very warm and welcoming pub. Friendly bar staff with good banter. Great atmosphere. Well presented out door area/beer garden. All in all a nice experience
