Pack Horse Inn

Staying at nearby Wedmore we called in on our way back from Berrow beach hoping for food. What a lovely welcome from a very hospitable family that unfortunately for us were fully booked. The food looked good and the atmosphere whist we had a drink was lovely. It wasn't our time at The Packhorse Inn but we would definitely return if back in the area. Booking a table on Saturday is advisable

We really like this pub in the village where we live. The owners are really nice and welcoming and the pub environment is super clean and has two open fires. The food is really fantastic and everything is home made and cooked to an amazing standard. The presentation of the food was like a picture from a cookery book and the flavours of the two dishes we had were really out of this world. The lamb shank was perfect and the game pie was really packed with meat which was really tender and not overly gamey. Both dishes are really worth a try if available.
My Wife's Tanqueray Sevilla Orange Gin (x2) really made her day and I tried both the Guiness options - standard (x1) and extra cold (x2). I had to go for a bike ride to burn off the calories but they were some of the best calories that I've been fortunate enough to acquire. We can't recommend this pub highly enough and we are lucky to live so near to it. PS There is also a nice courtyard to sit in and we enjoyed that when it was warmer weather in the summer.

Food was amazing! Proper home cooked food. Very child friendly made me & my children feel comfortable. Will definitely be revisiting ! Thankyou and compliments to the amazing chef!!

A great place to eat and be comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the food is excellent. Would recommend any day.

We had the most wonderful welcome from such lovely staff, The food was absolutely amazing, all home made!💗 we all ordered different dishes & each dish was delicious! Such a Lovely experience from start to finish, I would highly recommend this lovey Pub/restaurant in such a pretty village!💗💗💗

Exceptional food and great service. We both chose from the specials menu. I had "Drunken duck", the Grand Marnier sauce was delicious and my partner had Kleftico. This was authentic as the owners are Greek Cypriot. Will definitely return.

Nice lunch with good homecooked food. A little understaffed perhaps and unfortunately the heat from the 2 log fires hadn't reached us up the other end so it was a bit on the cold side, minor details though, overall a good experience

10 of us landed on this lovely pub for lunch. Staff are so accommodating, and the food was amazing. I would totally recommend a visit if you are in the area. Thank you x
