Have dined here many times & always enjoy the atmosphere, food & service. Good idea to get a Baron group loyalty card & receive a good discount. Check their website for t&c also other restaurants in their group. Can't go wrong really. Enjoy!

Recent refurb so looking fresh. Food was nice and staff friendly. Seems to be more of a place to get food and drink than a pub but that seems to be the case everywhere now.

Recently had a refurbishment & looking all the better for it. Along with the fresh paint is a fresh new menu which doesn’t disappoint. Providing a brunch, lunch and evening meal options with most dietary requirements catered for. Portions are good and value for money.
We received excellent service on our visit from the young lady who seemed to be covering bar & tables but we were never kept waiting.
A very pleasurable afternoon, I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! You couldn’t pay me to step foot in here again!!!
Appalling service and extremely rude member of staff, who I can only assume is the floor or restaurant manager.
We were not informed there was a cutoff of 9pm for our food. Main course attempted to be served while we had just received starters. We were informed we couldn’t have desserts and when we complained we were faced with aggression and rudeness from the floor manager.
If you don’t like customers, you aren’t cutout for a customer facing role.
On top of it the staff member tried to blame the incompetence of the restaurant staff on us.
Absolutely would not go here again and would never recommend this to anyone.

Absolute awful food chef was making fun of my sister inlaw as she can't eat diary products and he was holding his face in his hands and laughing and looking at my sister inlaw out of 3 meals 2 meals went back and had a refund. I had lamb and it wasn't cooked properly. Absolute useless if I was the owner I'd be looking for a new chef as the ones there can't cook.

Had such a lovely lunch the other day at the cricketers, even though it was really busy, we got excellent service especially from Ashley who went above and beyond to make our visit special, will definitely be back soon!

Nice pub with a big car park round the back. Soft furnishings to lounge in and a restaurant area. A bit on the pricey side but worth it for the ambiance.

Went for a family lunch today. A highchair was brought to the table and a Gluten free menu for my daughter. They didn't have our choices on the menu, or 2nd choice, so we went for beef and mushroom pie. It was delicious. Baby enjoyed her meal as well. Daughter had a chicken and veg curry and son in law had the Gammon. All generous portions and beautifully cooked. Only one chef on duty and we were told to expect a delay. We didn't have to wait very long though and the waitress was very sweet and helpful.
We will definitely be back to try out Sunday Roast after the New Year.
Nice to see a local traditional pub.
Well done to all the staff.
