Super pub food and atmosphere. Stopped in by chance without a booking and ordered from the specials menu. Delicious food, quick service and really friendly and welcoming (to us non-locals too!). Enjoyed sampling the local cider too! Thanks 😊

Great pub, food and lovely beer too. Highly recommended, but remember to book a table if you're going at peak times.

A truly nice old fashioned type pub with excellent polite staff.
The real ales on offer were good and the twice lve been in, the pint l received was how a real ale should be kept and served.
As yet we have not sampled the food but what we saw looked good and well presented. As well as a menu, there was a specials board that looked interesting. We intend eating here before we leave the area.
I can certainly recommend this pub as being a nice experience.

Fantastic find. Had an amazing sunday roast here. My husband had black angus beef and said it was the best he had ever tasted. Good atmosphere family friendly pub very reasonable prices

Stopped here with my wife brother in law and sister. Had a really great value top quality roast dinner. Proper home cooked. Cauliflower cheese which was massive. Definitely recommend and will return. Landlord and staff really spot on.great ambience

Great to see some good, & local, beers on offer. Got talking to another local licensee who was visiting & he's envious of these beers; he's tied to limited beers & resents having to sell the ubiquitous DOOMBAR....
