A pleasant experience.😊
Basically we wanted to walk in the Sherwood Pines but it was closed 😐 so we decided to pay a visit to Burnt Stump and have a drink and bite.

Location:
The pub is located next to Burntstump County Park🌳 which is worth to visit on normal weather conditions. It has a nice free carpark just in front of the building.
It is a well designed and good looking place with a pleasant atmosphere. On top of that it is doggo friendly. 😊

Waiting Staff:
As soon as we entered the building a kind waitress showed us to our table and gave us the Sunday menu.
In the bar where we ordered, the gentleman with the blue shirt took our order. He had an excellent knowledge about the food and drinks.

Food and drinks:
We ordered a nachos to share. It was lovely to see that the cheese was melted not like other places where the cheese is burnt and solid. The jalapenos gave a nice kick however bigger portions of dip especially guacamole would have been appreciated.
The Buttermilk chicken goujons were delicious and we'll presented. The BBQ sauce was incredible.

Amazing atmosphere and lovely aesthetic. The staff are lovely and the food is even more so and comes out in no time at all!

I would definitely recommend it to all families and friends outings!

Terrble place , terrible overpriced food and poor management, my partner has already written a review but for somereason this picture hasnt loaded ..... This meal is priced @ £18.10p . Twice we have been here for food in the last three months and twice its been disappointing to say the least. Will not eat from here again and i would advise anyone not to waste your money here .

Got seated very quickly, staff were very helpful but seem very busy. Had to ask for them to take our order. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. We had an issue with one of our meals but this was dealt with quickly. The rest of our food was delicious. Lovely location for families.

Visited for the first time today for a celebration dinner. Can not fault the atmosphere and has a family feel to it. Food was lovely and was served efficiently with no delays and bar service was friendly and fast. Love the fact that it’s dog friendly and will be coming back with my dog. :-)

Very good service and considering the high amount of people in, it’s a reasonable wait. Good selection of food, especially for fussy people like me, there’s no issue removing items from an order and even when you forget something, they sort it quickly. Only four stars because I ran out of room for my jam sponge pudding, will definitely return… more custard next time please! Oh and it’s dog friendly so a trip with ours will happen too!

I booked for a party of 26. More people joined us unexpectedly so there wasn't enough seats. Despite being busy, the staff found and rearranged extra tables with a smile. The food came out quickly with no problems and staff were really friendly and helpful. Food prices are also very reasonable. Its right next to a country park, so has a nice view too. Highly recommended.
