Lovely little pub with really friendly staff and very nice food. We came across this place on our way to Camber Sands, and it was timely as we were in need of refreshments on the hot sunny day it was. Would totally recommend popping in on your travels ! X

Took my family here and we all loved it! We were served by Josie and received amazing service as she was so lovely and constantly making sure we were happy with our food. The food was delicious, especially the recommendations Josie gave us! The atmosphere in the pub was great and we will definitely be coming again :)

Visited here a few weeks ago with friends. I only had a sandwich which was ok but the chips were cold. 2 of my friends had hot food and some of it was like warm. We were trying the place out as to see if we would go there for our annual Christmas meal. Unfortunately we won't be.

Food is pricey but great with big portions. Only gripe was needing to order drinks at the bar when food order was taken at the table. An order app for the drinks might have saved this inconvenience and if there is one then this would have bee a useful to point out.

We went last night and I was cold and the waitress was lovely and moved us to a table near the fire and even bought me a mug of hot water to warm my hands. To top it off the meal was absolutely great. 😊

Absolutely lovely old pub. Great food at good prices. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Recommend for decent pub food and drink. Good atmosphere.

I should have taken a picture of our meal as it was delicious, I had 2 slices of pork belly with lovely crackling on the top, it came with bubble and squeak sweet red cabbage and apple sauce. Absolutely yummy ,my husband had scampi and chips which were also great, he said, great chips with it. The beer was good, we had a pint of Tribute. We will be back.

So we dropped in after a nice bike ride with the Family and what a pleasant surprise, the food was really tasty and service was also great. They have plenty of seating inside and outside is a nice beer garden . If your passing pop in you won’t be disappointed.😎 hope you enjoy the pics x
