Overstone Manor - Pub & Carvery

Had the carvery here with a friend and our children. We arrived at the start of lunch so it wasn't busy but it did get much busier as time passed. I can see why though, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. There must be some special ingredient too as my daughter aye all of her vegetables and that never happens!
There's an abundance of seating outside as well if the inside is busy. Service at the bar could be a quicker however as there were very few people serving customers. I can't say if that's normal as I've not visited enough.

What a fantastic place to visit. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Carvery was just perfect, plenty to eat and very tasty. The chef was the best, very funny indeed. Also, value for money. I will definitely visit again soon.

I visit Overstone Manor regularly. The carvery is always delicious, plentiful and good value for money. A big shout out to Trish, the manager, who always takes the time to check everything is up to standard and have a chat. Excellent customer service from all the staff, which is sadly lacking in many other places. Well done and thank you 😊

This is a friendly pub and restaurant where you can get good value meals. There's plenty of space inside, and also plenty outside for the three days of sunshine each year. The carvery is always a good choice here.

Great meal. Staff fabulous. Menu had loads of choices. We all had something different and even though busy with wedding party, food was lovely. Grandchildren loved the indoor play and outside play area. Stress free meal with 4 and 6 year old. Highly recommend especially the mixed grill and steak and cheese fondue.

4 stars in most areas, except service which was 5 stars. It’s a chain pub, the food was good, everyone enjoyed their meal, the kids had a great time in the play area. As I expected it was quiet at 5pm on a Tuesday which was exactly what we wanted. Overall the building makes a good first impression but could do with a little tlc in some areas, new toilets wouldn’t go a miss, but they were clean, just dated with some visible issues. But the service was wonderful. All the staff we spoke to were lovely, two ladies, Eleanor and a woman who I assume was a manger were both so friendly and lovely with the kids. We will definitely come back again.

Very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Chefs, waiting staff and bar staff were all attentive.
Carvery was hot with plenty of variety.
Book in advance if you can to guarantee a table.

Never had a bad experience here. The staff are always a delight and the food is amazing. Nice thick cuts and the Yorkshires made in-house a crisp and fluffy. The roast potatoes and parsnips were amazing and the veg perfect. Very highly recommended wouldn't go anywhere else for a carvery and it beats toby hands down. Keep up the good work 11/10
