Fantastic pub with the most amazing Sunday roast. Other meals looked great too, but I was ecstatic about my roast beef and trimmings. Happened by this place, and I’m glad I did. The parking lot is small, and so is the restaurant - however, they do have a lovely wee garden when the weather cooperates. The decor is what you expect, but the coziness of this pub makes it a true gem. I will be back when I’m back in the region.

We came here for Sunday lunch for my sister in laws birthday. We were there from 1pm and I believe there was one other table occupied inside (not sure if anyone was outside eating). I had the beef Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious! Everything on the plate was so full of flavour and the portion was a really good size. The gravy was so rich and tasty I would have loved a small jug of it along with the amount that was put on my plate. The reason I have rated 4 stars rather than 5 was down to the service. Everyone was extremely pleasant which was great, however everything just seemed to take so long to come to our table. Once we had all finished our main, the plates took so long to be cleared we had to put a napkin over the top of them to try to stop all the flies trying to get on the plates. That was quite unpleasant! Overall, the building and surroundings are beautiful, the food was pretty much faultless but the service could do with being tightened

Paul is an exceptional host , Sarah and Poppy are always a pleasure to see. The food is incredible every time, we’ve never left here without booking for our next visit . Cannot recommend enough , Des & Liz

The BEST roast dinner I have ever had, and the chocolate orange brownie was a slice of pure heaven. A beautiful place, with friendly and smiley staff. Will recommend highly to everyone.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant yesterday for my partner's birthday. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes (slightly pricier than other places but extras are good value) and bursting with flavor. We will definitely be returning in the future to try more of their dishes!

Honestly. The best food, the BEST service, the best atmosphere....me and my husband came here for some 1 on 1 time on new years eve before getting the kids and it was just the best. This is now on our lunch or dinner list! Just amazing. Please visit...you won't be dissapointed

I had a vegan 3-course meal. It was utterly amazing. Congrats to the chef and kitchen staff!! Highly recommended. This is a friendly, clean, welcoming pub with a lovely garden and parking, and not overly priced. (Photo is just part of our friend’s creme brûlée)!
