We came for Sunday lunch, it's quite and had a cosy atmosphere plenty of tables. For lunch we chose the Roast beef. The barmaid was very nice and friendly and didn't mind me asking what the price was, (I didn't notice any price for the roasts but there is a blackboard of specials that had prices). It was £8:95 each. They were excellent lovely home cooked vegetables and good quality and portions. My husband also had the chocolate fudge cake for dessert. We definitely recommend. ( The ladies toilet was also excellent).

Such a warm welcome, felt at home instantly. Being a Sunday it was roast dinner, we had the beef, which came with at least 5 veg. Food was fresh and meat very tender. Followed up with Apple Strudel and custard. Decor modern, and bright with a very well stocked bar, too many gins to count. Will definitely visit again.

Why assume everyone uses Facebook? What's wrong with simply putting a menu on your website?
The place might be ok but without seeing a menu first we'll never know. Business lost 👎

Lovely place spotless and great service

Called today for a carvery after looking on line and reading the reviews, to be very disappointed to find a sign outside saying No More Food Until Futher Notice. What a shame.
