Popped in after a run & could not have had a better experience, the staff at the bar were bright & happy, good choice of beers & ciders, we decided to eat & was served outside at the burger van by a fantastic chap (a weight lifter) who went through the food with us & then cooked up some excellent vegan & meat burgers for us, the choices were great & very tasty.
Would definitely go back again with the family to. A* rating for me.

Probably one of the top places locally. Nice atmosphere, cleanliness good, service ok, food generally good quality. Pie was delicious, however accompanying veg (carrots, leeks, potatoes) all very bland and simply boiled. Other mains could have been better too. Great for burgers, fries etc from griller shack in outside garden and ox cheek sublime! Macaroni cheese tasted like sauce was from a packet?!

I went to the Dunstan as there was no tables free in another local pub I went to. I was glad I did, as they had a heated and covered patio area and sheepskin throws to keep you warm. Great choice of beers and friendly staff
BUT saying that, 2 pints, a half and an orange juice £17:80! Bit of a rip off

Nice atmosphere friendly staff lovely the outside is a nice area with heaters the inside has a lovely lounge area with fireplace to sit. I can't comment on the food as haven't eaten there, but the menu looks good.

Quality environment, welcoming and kind staff, catering for all needs. Very spacious, with parking. My meal and pint were fabulous- meat pie, with nothing but meat in it, properly cooked pastry, not too much of it, fabulous vegetables, loved the butternut squash, and the gravy. Pint was decent too. Had a very pleasant quiet time there, reading, and waiting for the Carnival. It wasn't busy busy when I was there. Enough people, but this place is so spacious, it didn't feel busy. Hope to go again, soon. Cost: not cheap, but definitely value for money.

The food is freshly cooked to order but still it comes out from the kitchen fairly quickly. The is nicely cooked and plenty of it. The fish overhangs the plate. The Garlic Chicken Kiev tasts great.
