Wedding party at the Old Barns. What can I say, fantastic venue, fantastic staff and fantastic food. Lewis was brilliant before and during the event and the staff cooking the pizza couldn't do enough to please our guesses. They cooked several custom pizzas for people who didn't like some of the ingredients. This place is a hidden gem and would highly recommend it. Thanks Marcus & Jo

This used to be a 4 star rating 3 years ago but have lowered it due to a recent visit.

The staff were polite but interesting, our waitress kept egging us on to spend money due to her getting a bonus if she reaches a budget which I understand but this created a weird attitude between us and the waitress.

The menu seems limited so I ordered 2 smaller dishes, the squid were really good but the katsu curry was bland. I had friends say their burgers were bad and for dessert they had profiteroles, I tasted one after they said they didn't like them and they tasted like gone off milk! They offered a refund luckily but never know anything like it.

A couple friends did the wings challenge, I wouldn't recommend it due to the fact the board gets reset every week so there's no point really but it's good fun. The wings don't taste the best compared to others, the spicy ones are spicy but not tasty at all.

I was booked in to this place for 2 nights with my 2 grandchildren, I rang ahead to say we were going to be later than expected due to the M6 being closed because of accident. I had already requested a late check in when booking. When we finally arrived the place was locked up and in darkness, we were on the car park with no bed for the night. After many phone calls we finally had a bed at 2 am. I had to pay £50 more for a new place and then they had the nerve to charge £50 for a NO SHOW, we did show just a pity they hadn't the courtesy to wait for us, all they are interested in is taking money. This was a nightmare trip thanks to the Red Lion, but after reading many bad reviews and our experience I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Took my elderly mother for a Sunday roast. It takes a lot to please her nowadays but she was over the moon with the food and service. Well done and thanks, we will be back.

It’s one star because we received the food but that’s about it. Weirdest tasting burger ever, fish had too much batter on it. Service is below average. If you just go for drinks maybe otherwise give it a miss.

We popped in for a meal after shopping, my favourite pass time!
This pub is close to us, so close it misses the radar, which is a shame as it means I've been missing out.
Nice atmosphere, nice food, nice staff. Couldn't be better really. Obviously we'll be using a lot more.

Fantastic location with amazing staff that just couldn't do enough for you. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. We were there with 15 disabled guests, and all their needs were catered for from accessibility to service from the staff.

I booked the garden room for Christmas dinner for Sunday and was paid £20 for hire. After I receive an e-mail with confirmation with time slot from 6:30p.-10pm.When we are come ,inside was very cold(we freezing 🥶 .In the middle of our dinner they tell us that they will close at 8:30.This was terrible, because they lied us in booking!!!After this I will never go again there!!!
