Absolutely great evening at the spread eagle, after a good day at adrenaline alley we were met with great food and service.

Big thanks to Andrea for the great service, and you can have some of my pudding next time :D

Absolutely disgusting service and food! Ordered 2 beef roast dinners, the carrots where shrivelled, the beef was burnt at the edges, the Yorkshire pudding was in edible, the potatoes were undercooked and had so much herb covering on them and just look at the wet soggy green stuff posing as veg! I complained, only to be told this food is precooked in the morning and kept warm during the day! Avoid this place! They should not be allowed to serve food!

It's okay. Food was tasty and cooked nicely. It was quite difficult being our first time here to find the seating area for food which is located at the back of the pub. No staff were there to greet or show us when we entered so we just wondered until we found some tables with menus on them. Good came out in good time and was cooked nicely. What let the experience down was spending up to 5 minutes trying to find staff at the bar or a table to sit at for food and just generally feeling welcome when trying a new place.

Friendly, speedy service from waitress. Very clean, tidy environment. Food took a while but was worth the wait. The cauliflower and red pepper curry was delicious and was ‘curry house’ standard. Drinks were served very quickly. Bill brought over when asked with a smile. Thank you for a lovely lunch :)

Lovely, quiet venue. Great meal choices at very sensible prices. Our host today was Tammy, who was professional, delightful and very helpful. Little niggle sorted out with no drama or fuss. Thoroughly pleasant meal. Happy to recommend

Cracking wee pub/restaurant. The prices are a little steep but not overly expensive. Food is a okay standard and the garden menu works very well.
I had the nachos and feel like they could have done with a lot more cheese and a little more of the sauces/cream cheese. But I enjoyed it and I will definitely be back.
Staff are friendly and attentive, facilities are of a good clean standard and the garden area is lovely

Lovely atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff, Tammy & Josh, from the first step through the door to leaving. Food was amazing, we didn’t have the pizza but they looked and smelt wonderful. The gardens are lovely to sit in, especially in this lovely heat. There is plenty of parking. They do daily deals on the meals, check the website. Couldn’t fault anything, will defo be coming back!!

Another fantastic meal, both boys enjoyed theirs and I loved mine, service with a smile and allways made to feel welcome, just a note to anyone reading this, a mega mixed grill is literally double to a normal mixed grill, was alot of meat and my boys helped 😀 will continue to have a boys night there on my weekends with the boys :-)
