Fantastic experience, we visited on a Wednesday evening, it was nice to see a village pub nice and busy mid week.
Very fair ordering system even if a little different, food was lovely but most impressed with the young team. They worked like a well oiled cog and were fast, attentive and polite. Also an upside for anyone visiting it’s very dog friendly.

Lovely pub with beer garden.
Suitable for dogs.
Good selection of beers.
Cracking and gravy are a nice snack.

Great village pub definitely worth a visit!!

We stumbled upon this great place around a year ago when visiting the woods nearby for a dog walk on a Sunday afternoon.
We popped in and were pleasantly suprised we were just in time to order a delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings which was reasonably priced.
We now visit every 2 or 3 weeks. The team here are lovely , nothing is too much and they nearly aways remember our normal order (creatures of habit).
We would definitely recommend a visit here all year round.

Brilliant local pub, good food and friendly staff, we can understand why they won a community award during recent difficult times.

Lovely sunday roast dinner at a reasonable price. Dog friendly, and very helpful staff. Food was delicious and it had a great atmosphere. Would suggest reserving a table ahead of time as it gets busy.

This a lovely pub situated in a very pretty village. The bar has a great range of real ales. There is an ever changing dining menu, all of which sound delicious. I had a starter of chicken goujons with a festive mayonnaise dip. For my main course I had the the beef and ale pie, mange tout and new potatoes. The pie had beautiful rich gravy and a light shortcrust pastry top. The bar staff were very pleasant and polite. I can't fault the place. I will certainly be visiting here again!

Fantastic village pub, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent every time we visited with a great selection. Real ales were different most night which went down very well.
We visited 5 nights out of 7. Highly recommended.
