On arrival we were greeted by some nice woman and had high hopes as the place looked okay. My partner had a mixed grill which he reasonably enjoy and my son had sausage and chips which he did eat but the chips and corn on cob was cold.. Mine on the other hand though I was highly disappointed, I ordered an Alfredo pasta with grilled chicken which came with garlic bread. The pasta tasted like a cheap bland version of batchelers broccoli and cheese pasta and well the garlic bread was simply warmed soggy bread. Could barely eat it and left the majority… I don’t think I’ll make a return to there.

Just had a beautiful meal here as a family of 5 with our pet dog, which on arrival we was greeted and asked if we would like a bowl and fresh water for our woof. All the staff were so friendly and literally couldn't do enough to make our experience as positive as possible 👌😊.
Highly enjoyed our visit here would highly recommend, also absolute fantastic gesture ever they even did our woof a plate of meat from the carvery.
Thank you so much to all staff for making our time here the best ❤️

2 star for friendly staff only. Went here as good reviews with dogs. Charged £2.35 for 1.5 slices of turkey for a dog which arrived cold. Waited 40 minutes for 2 starters, half of which were burnt. Sundae was in a coffee glass nor as big as a sundae glass. Overall not impressed

Previously Dragonfly, The King Brychan provides many of the same meals but done wonderfully. Absolutely great steak and chips, the chips were fresh and perfectly done, the steak was the best pub steak I've ever had. The peas were extremely fresh.

The carvery on offer looked, smelt and tasted amazing. Now you have the ability to order on the app whenever you visit instead of going up to the bar which was nice, no need to leave the table while drinks and food are brought over. I couldn't fault the place personally.

This review is about the carvery, other people seemed to be enjoying other food. However, how can anywhere burn boiled carrots? Roast potatoes would have needed a steak knife to get through (not provided) and everything else was cold.
Realistically the carvery wasn't popular and so the food was kept waiting far too long. The only positive - bar staff were friendly enough.

Hosted by the wonderful Louise, she helped with our orders and drinks. She also helped encourage child in our party to eat. Absolutely lovely service and incredible hospitality. 5/5.

Food arrived quickly and tasted wonderful.

Also were helped by Charlie during our visit who was also incredibly helpful and lovely.

If I could give it zero I would. The food they served us was sat there all day, the meat was so dry and they were happy to serve it until asked to change it! No stuffing, no gravy, will never go again. By fat the worst meal I have ever had out. That price of meat in the picture is beef its that dry!
