Lovely place, really lovely staff, but the decor and atmosphere is a bit dated. Also, we had baguettes for lunch and they weren't amazing, although the salad was a nice addition and I enjoyed it nevertheless. I'd love to give five stars but it just needs a little bit of updating at the moment! Was going to give three but seeing that the owners are new and having met them, I have faith that they can turn those lacking aspects around soon to make a lovely little establishment. So the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the sandwiches were good enough and the staff were excellent and friendly! Recommend dropping by if you're passing and hoping for a nice decor update soon.

Perfect bar after a long walk in and around Porthmadog. Friendly , helpfully bar staff. Refreshing drinks. Great outside ‘rooftop’ seating.

A great little find overlooking the harbour in Porthmadog. The atmosphere was great, staff friendly. Sat up on the balcony enjoying a couple of pints. The only downside was licensing restrictions meant we had to move inside as 7:30pm because there's no connecting link between the bar and the balcony. I hope they get that sorted so more people can sit outside longer 😀

good warm welcome from barmaid highly recommend the hand carved home cooked ham egg n excellent chips . Also whitby scampi for the other half which was done to perfection even though were 250 miles from home err whitby

Had a couple of beers but did not eat there, everyone friendly enough. Outside bench seating downstairs and first floor balcony terrace (accessible from side street only). Terrace looks over the marina but wooden fence spoils seated view, glass fronting would be better.

Great bar with great barmen. Myself and my family visited here a few nights this weekend with my puppy and we all loved it, especially Coco who was spoilt with fusses from the locals. The staff were really friendly and a good laugh. Highly recommended.

Although only a few metres away from our apartment, we didn't even realise this was a pub until the night before we left to go home. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Sorry we didn't find you sooner
