I had gone into the pub a couple of days in advance and booked a table for 10 people on a Thursday evening.

When we arrived we found another family sat at the table reserved for us. We spoke to staff who apologised and asked if we could order some drinks at the bar to have in the garden while they waited for the table to become vacant. We didn’t as the garden was busy and there were no free tables.

Within ten minutes though the staff managed to find us a free table in the restaurant part and it was a quieter area and really nice.

The food was delicious and came within 20 minutes and we all really enjoyed our food.

All credit to the chefs and staff on duty who were extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. It was a perfect end to our weeks summer holiday in North Wales.

Thank you for a great evening. I would definitely recommend The Victoria Inn to anyone.

Popped in for a pint on Saturday and decided to try and book Sunday lunch for 16 of us all staying nearby. The food was excellent as was the service and the drinks. I have no hesitation in giving this lovely pub 5 stars and thoroughly recommend you to dine here.

We are here as a family with a young son on a Saturday while on holiday in North Wales.
Even though it was really busy the staff were great and found us some extra chairs so we could make use of an empty table that someone had taken all the seats from!
There was a brilliant play area that kept our little boy busy while we waited for our food.
The menu was lovely, really well priced but interesting and everything tasted great.
Really recommend to families!

Had a late afternoon/early evening meal here during our holidays. 8 of us including 2 young children plus two Pugs! Staff are great and the food is excellent and priced fairly. Book ahead though as you cannot just walk in, book same day. (Not during the week whilst we were there anyway) Park and beer garden is brilliant too with a lovely view over the aster.

I'd have gone for 9/10 or 4.5 out of 5 but there wasn't that option. It wasn't fair to downgrade them to 4/5 though (8/10). They got our food slightly wrong which was the ONLY down marker (they offered an amended menu option for our 5-year old but delivered it as per menu) but everything else was brilliant. It's a kid-friendly and dog-friendly pub (dogs definitely allowed outside anyway, with water bowls on offer - we arent dog owners so didn't clock if they were inside too). The food was great (and copious - HUGE portions), the service was efficient and friendly, the decor was modern without feeling too clinical while still having a rustic feel. The toilets were clean, the management was fair and firm, there is plenty of seating inside and out and the kids play area is one of the best I've seen, with wooden structures and webbing and slides and swings and a hidden tunnel through a bamboo hedge. The pub sits by a river which is pretty and gives something extra to look at / walk along. It's a very lovely pub in a very lovely part of the world, with a huge car park just across the road. My only advice would be if you want to eat inside, make sure you book well in advance as it gets very busy. We had to eat outside - but we just walked in unannounced (but we were served food within about 25 minutes).

Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just didn't hit the 5 star mark. Checked out all three place's to eat in Llanbedr and this came third. The atmosphere was just a little staged and the drinks more costly than the other two hotels. Staff great. Location great. Just didn't squeeze out lemon.

Was so looking forward to having something to eat and drink when I found this on Google maps whilst me and my husband were staying nearby on holiday. As it was a lovely afternoon and a few people were already drinking outside I decided to go and order some food to be told that they don't serve food till after 5pm and that she was the only person in.
I can understand maybe a small establishment but this is a well known company for serving food and drink. Just wondering what happens when people are staying here and want breakfast or lunch.
Such a shame as we both said we were really disappointed that they don't serve meals at lunchtime!!

What a lovely little pub on the running river.. the pub was very busy with food and after ordering and getting our food i could see why, we had the Sunday roast beef and it was absolutely marvellous, beef was spot on and cooked to perfection and they wasn't shy with it either , so much meet and one of the best Sunday roasts.. when we go back to the area we shall definitely be coming back.
