The service was spot on attentive informative smiling faces very helpful the pub was bright spotlessly clean.
Now the reason for 4 stats not five all the dishes we had and there were wonderfull bar the chips which were sad they let meals down other than that a very great time was had and I will be returning and would highly recommend The Eagle for day or night eating out .

Attended as a group booking, on arrival we were shown to our table by a member of staff and ordered our drinks at the bar area. Shortly after a member of staff took our food order and after a little wait, food arrived for all members of the party and everyone enjoyed. The portion sizes were nice and good tasting food.

We then ordered dessert for all members of the party and again, it promptly arrived after a short wait and was of generous portions.

We went to the Eagle for my daughter's birthday last night, we had 3 chilli's and 2 steaks, and all the food was beautiful!! Presentation perfect!! I would highly recommend this pub, and the staff and the manager were very professional and very polite and friendly! Thank you for making our night so special, and most enjoyable!! I Will return every time!! X

Had Sunday lunch here today. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and tasty. Very good value for money. The beef was really good and the gravy was very tasty . Would recommend the Sunday lunch.

Three of us had Sunday lunch here today.one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had plenty of it very very tasty and very reasonable .we will definitely return and the royal Oak in Saunders foot need to take a big leaf out of your book .And complements to your chef what a dinner👍

Took a while for the food to come but was lovely!

First time visiting as not from the area. Lovely atmosphere our meals were fantastic and prices were lower than i expected. Staff were all very polite and courteous. All in all i will 100% be returning.

The food was absolutely delicious! Super fresh!! Real chips!!!!! The staff were very efficient and friendly.. everything was perfect.
