Had a lovely holiday in Llandudno. the team in the Carton made the evenings great, if your looking for a friendly pub with good beer, the Carton is where to head too. Thanks Caitlin & Chantelle

Very, very disappointed & quite frankly shocked with this place! Was on holiday for the half-term week with family & decided to go in here for drinks but upon entering with one person at the bar being served & two people behind the bar, one of the staff seemed more happy to talk to their colleague & wander back & forth than offer service to myself. Was eventually served but upon ordering drinks for the family, the member of staff behind the bar asked if the drinks were for children to which I replied "Yes, the Diet Coke is for my 17yr old daughter". I was then told that anybody under the age of 18yrs old is not allowed in after 6pm & that we must leave the premises immediately (yes the words 'immediately' were used)!!
I literally stood there shocked at the sheer rudeness of the staff. Not even an "unfortunately we are not allowed anybody under 18 past 6pm i'm afraid" but a blunt reply of "You must leave immediately".
Considering we walked in just after 7pm & the bar staff watched as we as a family entered, neither said anything to us as we walked past the bar.
There is no sign within the pub stating no U18's allowed after 6pm and having looked on their website, it doesn't state this either.
I would have understood had we entered after 9 or 10pm & the place was rammed but it was half empty but the member of staff made sure the other people present heard when we were asked to leave.
The attitude & rudeness of the staff left me completely stunned & shocked. This place will undoubtedly lose a huge amount of custom if this is the attitude its staff take.
I would very highly recommend avoiding this place if this is how they treat customers!

What a fabulous evening I had at the Carlton Llandudno.
Tracy and all her staff make everyone so very welcome.
I went to play the Bingo,which is on a Monday Tuesday and Thursday,
the prizes are very good .
You can book a table for food ,they have entertainment on every evening.
A really good night .

I gave u 5* four years ago but deleted that and made new.
I came for some food today and the food was incredible and the staff he was so polite and helpful.
I gave u 5* last time i want to give u 7* but cant.

Lovely hot cheese burger and chips.
Chips lovely and crispy, not dry.
Burger was lovely too with jalaneenoa.
Warm jusge sponge cake with ice cream.

Great beer/larger with seating area out front to watch the world go by. The pub is quite busy with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff who are on top of keeping the tables clean. A bit tatty/run down in some areas. But to the right person this could add to the traditional pub feeling. The toilets however are very clean and tidy. I will visit again.

Didn’t even get chance to order a drink after being asked “is that with you” referring to my child! Can’t have children in there on a Saturday lunch time unless your ordering food. I don’t see what difference that makes! Maybe put a sign on the door.
