We called in here yesterday with my little boy to watch the racing. We were made to feel really welcome and they had a selection of games to entertain my 2 year old. Very friendly pub, we will definitely be back

Very good pint of Guinness. Tired pub but such friendly staff. Table top games area with cards, jonga, connect 4 and several more, pool table other side of bar. Great atmosphere

We meet friends here whenever we visit Bala, a welcoming place. A little shabby but the pleasantries are lovely we are always made to feel welcome. Have entertainment on and thats usually pretty good too. We will continue to visit and enjoy 😉 the company 😀 been refurbished July fantastic 😀 visited this weekend gone and an enjoyable time as ever and excellent 😀 prices x

Basic pub. Nothing fancy, but polite staff and very good value cider. Also has a darts board and pool table.

We went here to watch the football and pretty much had that side of the bar to ourselves. Pool table and darts board as well, so a good mix of 'pub sports.' The staff were friendly and helpful and that helped it get to three stars. The general decor of the building is on the tired side and the range of drinks is what I would consider quite old school with only Doom Bar on cask.

Had a child toilet emergency so popped in. Young lady at the bar was professional, polite and friendly. The pub was very clean. Instead of standing at the bar on her phone..... with few customers... she was cleaning and cleaning. A credit to the establishment. Many Thanks.
